Payments

What does pending payment mean?

The customer or provider flow has not yet produced a final backend-confirmed outcome.

Does returning from PayHere mean the payment succeeded?

No. The Motornauts payment page uses backend state from validated callback or reconciliation behavior. A browser return or cancel page is only a navigation event.

Why can the invoice balance and online payment result look different?

They describe different durable facts. A manual payment can change invoice settlement without making the PayHere attempt successful, and an online request outcome does not by itself rewrite the displayed invoice balance. Refresh the authenticated invoice state and ask the service center to review any remaining mismatch; a reconciliation warning always takes precedence over success copy.

What does Check status again do on an invoice result?

It reloads the exact authenticated invoice/payment pair from Motornauts. It does not poll, submit checkout again, contact PayHere directly, or infer success from the return URL.

Motornauts revokes the bearer capability when the request expires or reaches a terminal state. The public page does not reveal which terminal outcome occurred and cannot retry the old request. Check the authenticated customer portal or contact the service center; authorized staff can confirm the backend payment or reconciliation state.

Motornauts removes it before loading and keeps it only in the current browser tab. While the request remains active, Check status asks the backend for a fresh result. Try loading again retries a temporary status-read failure only; neither action submits the payment again.

Does Motornauts store card numbers?

No. PayHere hosts the card/payment entry step when online payments are ready. Motornauts stores the payment request, status, provider order reference, and safe callback/reconciliation status records.

No. Staff should not mutate provider amounts after link creation. Create a new approved request or use a supported revision path when one exists.

What is the largest supported amount?

Ordinary service, inventory, estimate, invoice, and Fleet amounts support up to 999,999,999 minor units (LKR 9,999,999.99). Manual payments and payment requests have a stricter maximum of 99,999,999 minor units (LKR 999,999.99) and must be positive. Motornauts rejects values outside these limits; staff should not split one logical amount to bypass them.
