Full Booking to Delivery
Use this tutorial to understand the standard service-center journey.
Request a booking
From the workshop landing page choose Book service, sign in with your customer email code, and continue to booking. Existing portal users can open Book from their workspace navigation.
- Vehicle & service: select an authorized vehicle card. Use search and Previous/Next vehicle pages when needed. Choose a branch and one of its offered services; descriptions, duration and prices are shown when supplied. Active work can restrict another request for the same service.
- Date & time: select an available date, then explicitly select a time. Use Next dates for later dates. Times use the selected branch’s timezone, named on the page. Only future starts within 30 days are offered, and the whole service must fit an opening period. Changing the date clears the chosen time. A repeated daylight-saving time shows its offset so you can distinguish the two choices.
- Visit & review: enter optional mileage, your main concern and any additional notes. Check the vehicle, branch, service and requested time in the summary. Use Edit or Back to correct a choice, then choose Submit booking request once.
Back and Edit retain visit notes. Changing the vehicle, branch or service clears incompatible choices, so choose a fresh time when prompted. On a wide screen the summary stays beside the form; on mobile, expand View booking summary, then check the full summary in the final step.
The booking detail opens after submission. Requested means the workshop still needs to confirm your appointment; it is not a confirmed visit. The server checks availability again when you submit.
If a vehicle search has no matches, change or clear it. If no services or times are available, choose another branch or service, refresh availability, or contact the workshop. When some availability fails to load, the page identifies this and keeps successfully loaded choices usable. If online booking is paused while branch hours are confirmed, choose another branch or contact the workshop to arrange a visit. Walk-ins are still available to workshop staff. A failed submission keeps your visit details so you can correct fields, refresh available times or retry. Do not submit repeatedly while a request is processing.
Steps
- Customer signs in to the tenant portal.
- Customer adds or confirms a vehicle in the garage.
- Customer books a service slot.
- Service Advisor opens the plate-anchored appointment, confirms the branch-timezone schedule, and prepares check-in. If the visit is unplanned, guided walk-in intake enters the same workflow.
- Staff enters arrival mileage and fuel level, checks in the vehicle, and assigns the technician. If the vehicle already has active work, check-in keeps those entries and links to its active jobs.
- Technician chooses Start inspection, completes the saved service checklist, records findings and submits the inspection for advisor review.
- Service Advisor opens Work & estimates, reviews any current version, enters normal currency amounts and an explicit tax method, checks the totals, and sends the estimate for approval.
- Customer approves or rejects line items.
- Technician starts the approved work and sends the finished vehicle for quality check.
- Quality Controller finds the vehicle in the searchable queue and approves it, sends it for washing, or returns it for rework with optional instructions for the technician.
- Staff creates and issues an invoice from the approved work when billing is enabled.
- Cashier or Service Advisor records payment; any required washing is completed before pickup.
- Service Advisor opens Ready for pickup and follows Review handover to Billing & handoff, verifies the vehicle and outstanding requirements, and explicitly confirms delivery.
- Customer receives service history and feedback request.
If feedback submission reports a temporary failure, retry once in the same window with the same rating and comment. A saved response is kept; retrying does not replace it. If the link has expired or access has changed, contact the workshop.
Success criteria
The customer can see the current service state, approved work, invoice/payment state, delivery status, history, and feedback entry without seeing internal workshop notes.
