Readiness Gates
Use this checklist before asking staff or customers to use a feature. Check the feature’s status and the specific action you need, rather than relying on a toggle alone.
Readiness states
Module Readiness explains enabled, not enabled, setup incomplete, provider not ready and unavailable states. Review reminders appear separately and do not automatically disable an otherwise available feature.
Tenant Admin checklist
- Confirm the feature is included and enabled for the service center.
- Assign the narrowest useful roles and the correct branches.
- Complete required runtime configuration shown in Settings.
- Try the normal workflow with the intended user role.
- Give staff a fallback and a contact for unresolved problems.
Setup by area
| Area | Prepare |
|---|---|
| Appointments | Active branches, opening hours and bookable services |
| Staff | Accepted access and the correct role/branches |
| Fleet | Accounts, authorized members and vehicle/driver assignments |
| Inventory | Parts, suppliers and audited opening stock |
| Payment requests | Authorized billing staff and an approved customer handoff channel |
| PayHere checkout | Test/Live setup, current credentials and explicit checkout activation |
| PDFs | Working private storage; customize default layouts only if needed |
| Notifications | Eligible channels, templates and recipient preferences |
| Public registration | Registration settings, review owner and bot verification |
| Custom domains | Domain ownership verification and correct tenant binding |
Payment example
A Cashier may prepare a full-amount payment request while online checkout is unavailable. Do not promise a working online payment until the selected PayHere configuration is ready. A browser return is not proof that money was received; check the recorded payment state.
What to send support
Send the feature name, the screen’s safe message, when it happened and what you expected. Do not send passwords, OTPs, merchant secrets, private document links or callback data.
Keep reviews current
Provider and privacy review reminders still need an owner and follow-up. They are separate from runtime access. Contact Motornauts support when a review needs assistance.
