Using Today’s work

Open Today’s work from the staff sidebar. It brings current scheduling and unfinished repair orders into one workspace. Active jobs counts repair orders, including work carried over from earlier days and jobs ready for pickup; two visits for one vehicle count as two jobs.

The appointment summary names its calendar date and timezone. A selected branch uses its local timezone. With all available branches, the dashboard names its reference timezone and counts each branch’s appointments on that calendar date using that branch’s timezone. Rescheduled times take precedence over confirmed or requested times. These current-day counts are separate from the active-job backlog.

Choose a permitted branch to keep the totals and queue in the same scope. A Tenant Admin can use all branches; Branch Managers and Service Advisors remain limited to their assigned branches. With one permitted branch, its name provides the context. No branch assignment shows setup guidance.

The default Approval & parts review queue puts waiting work in one searchable, paginated list. Choose Active jobs, a workshop stage, Waiting for parts, or Ready for pickup from the queue selector. Search by plate or repair-order reference, then page through every matching job. The compact summary links open their corresponding job or appointment set; a positive no-show count links to those appointments. Filters and branch context stay in the URL.

Choose the board view for a branch overview. Each stage shows a short preview and View all opens the complete matching queue. Switching to the board clears the list search so the overview and stage totals describe the full branch scope. On a small screen, use the queue selector to reach a stage directly rather than scrolling through every stage.

The waiting queue includes Awaiting customer approval and Waiting for parts. It is not a list of overdue promises or a follow-up schedule. Read the reason and timestamp before deciding who to contact. Oldest status change comes first; an approval’s displayed sent time can differ from the time the repair order entered its status. An unavailable timestamp is stated explicitly.

A job shows its plate and repair-order reference, branch, status, and assigned technician where that identity is available. A missing technician assignment is different from an unavailable technician name. Technician assignment does not establish who owns customer follow-up. Waiting for parts does not identify a missing part or prove a stock shortage; open the job and inventory context to check.

A job’s next action opens the relevant section: approval and parts review open Work & estimates, while handover opens Billing & handoff. Use the Back link to return to your queue. Check in vehicle starts the walk-in lookup with branch context when available; use Appointments for an existing booking.

Read the manual update time and choose Refresh before coordinating a handoff. The dashboard does not claim realtime updates. Permission and missing-branch guidance are different from an empty queue; ask a Tenant Admin to review access rather than treating a failed read as no work. A failed summary or job queue has its own unavailable message; other successfully loaded sections can remain usable. Loss of access clears protected dashboard content.

Use the labeled sidebar for the rest of the workshop. Daily tasks come first, with reporting and feedback under Management and setup under Administration. On a smaller screen, open the navigation menu in the header; Account holds appearance controls and Log out.

Report definitions should explain source data and disabled-module gaps. Public report links are out of scope.

Using the reports workspace

Authorized staff can open Reports within their resolved branch scope. Basic reporting access provides definitions and operational performance. The separate financial-reporting permission adds revenue, SMS, and payment-outcome evidence; without it, the browser does not request those endpoints. Seeing the navigation item never broadens the server-enforced permission or branch scope.

Filters live in the page URL so an authorized user can return to the same branch, date, service, technician, or PayHere-provider view. The inclusive date range uses UTC calendar-day boundaries. Branch choices come from the signed-in staff member’s resolved access context. Technician choices come from the already scoped operational result, not from the tenant staff directory. If an unknown, repeated, overlong, or invalid value is present, Motornauts ignores it and shows a safe notice.

Each chart names its question and unit, carries a text legend, and includes a semantic table with all bounded server-returned rows. Use View data table when exact values are more useful than the visual comparison. Use Download CSV for the matching permission-filtered export; the download is not a public or shareable report link. One failed report section does not erase other successfully loaded sections.

Revenue is separated by currency. Motornauts does not add different currencies into one total or plot them on one unlabeled axis. A missing denominator, unavailable source, or partial source is shown explicitly rather than converted to zero. The workspace does not invent targets, comparisons, time-series trends, or realtime claims from categorical report rows. Choose Refresh to request a new server snapshot.

Payment outcome reports read backend payment request state only. PayHere browser return or cancel landing events do not count as payment success. PENDING and provider-processing states are treated as pending outcomes until a validated callback or reconciliation action moves the payment to a terminal state.

Using the private feedback workspace

Tenant Admins, Branch Managers, and Service Advisors with basic reporting access can open Feedback. This is staff-only customer experience evidence, not a public review feed. Motornauts does not publish comments, infer sentiment or themes, or start a customer follow-up from this page.

The summary tiles and five-to-one rating distribution cover the complete authorized filter scope. The comment stream is a bounded newest-first page, so read Showing N of total before drawing a conclusion. Use View data table for the exact distribution counts. Vehicle registrations are the recognition anchor; an Open repair order link appears only when the signed-in staff member also has Repair Order access.

Filter by an authorized branch, rating, or inclusive UTC calendar dates. Applying or clearing a filter returns to the first page. Next page preserves the current valid filters and carries an opaque continuation value; do not edit or reuse that value with another filter set. Choose Refresh to request current evidence—the workspace does not claim to be live.

Tenant Admins use the authorized all-branch scope. Branch Managers and Service Advisors remain limited to their resolved assigned branches. A malformed response, failed request, unknown branch, missing assignment, or denied permission shows safe guidance without rendering partial or stale comments.

Reading report details

The date inputs label UTC explicitly and include the end-date hint: From and To include each entire UTC calendar day. Use Apply filters or Refresh to update reports; refresh guidance is beside these controls. Feedback uses the same stated UTC date convention; it is not relabeled as local time.

Open How these reports are calculated for the calculation rules, missing records and exclusions. Invoice totals remain separate from money collected, and rates explain which records they count. An unsupported amount displays Amount unavailable; review its currency before using the figure. The feedback dashboard keeps its private/public distinction while showing ratings for all selected results, including comments on other pages.
